FEs are best used with herbs that are normally high dosing herbs. It is commonplace to make tinctures 1 part plant and 5 parts liquid. FE’s are 1:1, which means you’ll need to buy smaller quantities, take  ⅕ of the dose and able to formulate better because the FE’s take up less space.
